The textures when looked upon closely has beautiful cotton neps, brown spots throughout that encapsulates the inherent beauty of the natural fibers. Woven on a low tension setting using traditional vintage shuttle looms to create this wonderful red line selvedge denim.
To preserve the authenticity of the cotton, the jeans are left undyed and bleach-free, resulting in this stunning Kinari hue. The color Kinari originates from a traditional Japanese term used to describe the natural hue of fabrics or threads made from natural materials such as cotton or linen. The color Kinari represents a color in its most authentic state, undyed and unbleached. Kinari is therefore not pure white but rather a pale cream or ecru color inherent to the natural cotton hue.
Given its rustic and natural appeal, this Kinari material has been a historic item produced by Japan for multiple decades.
